The Greek Island of Lesvos

3rd - 10th May 2001

A list of birds recorded by A Cockroft, N C Dawtrey and A Zabukas.

Report compiled by: Nick Dawtry.

Introduction

We stayed at the Vasso self catering apartments at Skala Kalloni, the cost was about 290 each for the week, this included flight, accomodation and insurance. The accomodation was very basic and we found ourselves eating out most nights. The temperature was usually in the 70s or 80s but we also had two or three nights of rain. Our car hire had been arranged through out travel agent and proved to be awkward.
